Innocent Musoni, a Mahama refugee camp host community member tells us how Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and cash grant of Frw 800,000, received from the Graduation Project funded by UNHCR in 2022, tremendously improved his production and wealth.
“The training in agriculture and the financial support by Graduation Project, helped me to start my agriculture business, owning a farmland worth Rwf 1,500,000 (two year after starting) and raising my investment in agriculture business up to Rwf 3,000,000. I currently have four employees with a salary of Rwf 60.000 each one per month. On every Rwf 3.000.000 I invest per season; I get a profit worth Rwf 2.000.000 and my family has full access to nutritious ingredients. I am no longer poor”, Innocent said.
